How It Works

PULLING PARTS LIKE A PRO

Free entry. Please be aware that customers must be 16 or older to enter the store area.
We do not provide any tools for pulling parts.
No power outlets are available, so bring hand or battery operated tools.
Many parts (brake assemblies, axles, etc.) have multiple attached components that must be paid for individually, so pull only the part you need.
A lubricating spray such as WD-40 can be helpful in loosening parts.
A flashlight may be necessary to see into recessed areas of the cars.
Bring two or more people if you plan to pull any large parts.
Customer are required to wear closed toed shoes.

Prices are not the same for all makes, models and years. We accept cash and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Debit Cards. Sorry, but we cannot accept personal checks

PARTS CROSS-REFERENCING SYSTEM

If we don't have the car or truck you're looking for, use our free in-store cross-referencing system to locate other vehicles that have the exact same parts. With over 850 vehicles on location, we just may have the one you need. Remember we are expanding our car lot everyday! Check out these examples:

    If you're not satisfied with the part you purchased, feel free to bring it back to receive refund or a store credit. Refunds and store credits are offered on most parts within 30 days of purchase. You must have a valid receipt dated 30 days or less, and the part must be marked. Be sure to find a Indian River u-pull-it employee to mark your parts after purchase in case you need to return them.

    CORE

    (Cash On Receipt of Exchange) charges may be refunded if the part being replaced is returned to the store with your original receipt, dated 30 days or less.

    SAFETY GUIDELINES

    Because we care about your safety and the safety of our employees, please observe our safety guidelines.
    Customers must be wearing closed-toed shoes. Gloves and safety goggles are recommended, but not required, while in the store area.
    No one under 16 is permitted in the store area.
    Torches and major power tools are not permitted. If you are unsure about a power tool, ask one of our associates before bringing it inside.
    Unmarked car parts and/or car jacks may not be brought into the store.

    No pets permitted.

    No alcohol permitted.

    What is a "Self Serve Auto Parts Recycler"?

    Indian River U-Pull-It store displays hundreds of junked cars and trucks on stands, arranged in rows, and separated by manufacturer. Bring your own tools to remove the parts, drive train components or any other accessories you need to fix or improve your car.

    Why should I remove my own parts?

    Indian River U-Pull-It’s philosophy is: since you do all the work, you enjoy all the savings. Our parts are sold at a fraction of what a dealer would charge and well below the cost of a traditional auto parts yard.

    Can I expect to find high-quality parts?

    Yes! Most of the parts at Indian River U-Pull-It are the original components the manufacturer installed when the car was built.

    What happens if the part does not work or fit properly?

    If the part you bought does not work or fit properly and you return it within 30 days of purchase, we will either exchange your part or give you store credit.

    Why do you charge a small entrance fee and environmental fee on purchases?

    Our minimal fees help to offset the expenses of maintaining a state-of-the-art auto parts recycling center.

    What is a CORE charge and why do some parts have them?

    CORE stands for Cash on Receipt of Exchange. To insure that as many parts get recycled as possible, a CORE charge is added to the purchase price of some parts. The CORE charge is refunded if your original part is returned to us within 30 days of purchase.

    I've checked the inventory and couldn't find the car that matches the model I need parts for. Does that mean you don't have the part I need?

    Many parts are used on more than one car model. We provide a FREE in-store, cross referencing system to locate other vehicles that have the exact same parts. With over 850 vehicles on location, chances are good we have what you need. Please remember we are expanding our car lot every day. Check out our Cross Reference system in action.

    Do you buy junked autos? How much do you pay?

    Yes! We do buy junked vehicles even if they no longer run. The value of a car varies depending on the model and condition of the car. To find out how much we'd be willing to pay for your car, click here.

    Will you remove my car or do I have to deliver it to you?

    We'd be happy to arrange towing for you. However, if you bring it to us, we typically pay more for your junked auto.
